Hermes Launches Its First Chypre Fragrance, Barénia

Hermès launched the new Barénia perfume at Suhehaosi on the Suzhou River in Shanghai. As Hermès' first chypre perfume, Barénia was carefully created by Christine Nagel, the creative director and exclusive perfumer of Hermès. Since joining the brand in 2014, Christine Nagel has had the idea of ​​creating a chypre perfume for Hermès.

The design of the perfume bottle is inspired by Hermès' classic Collier de chien bracelet, created by designer Philippe Mouquet. The perfume bottle adopts a curved and transparent design, with rare metals, presenting an oval shape that echoes the bracelet, and four convex round studs are embellished on a metal plaque.

The outer packaging box of the perfume shows an elegant geometric design. The metallic oval plaque echoes the design of the bottle. In the middle is the iconic Hermès H letter and the perfume name Barénia presented in red, representing confidence and enthusiasm.
